Edith is Research Program Manager at Cure Cancer Australia Foundation (CCAF). CCAF has funded over 400 early career researchers since 1967. Edith manages the CCAF research grant program, the alumni program, is relationship manager to both ECR and their research institutes and host at Cure Cancer Australia’s research events. Originally a registered nurse, Edith spent many years as a corporate business manager in IT and HR, is a qualified project manager and change manager, and has an independent business consultancy. She now works part time in her CCAF role and also consults to beyondblue, the national depression initiative. She can be found on twitter as @ehurt01, tweeting across a variety of interest areas, including #ECR, and science communication, art, architecture, management, leadership, sociology and urban design.
